For Sale: Used 1971 1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport or GTO hood with scoops. The hood is sold as shown in the photos. The hood is over 44 years old and is not perfect. The hood has rust and needs to restored. (See last to photos for rust spot.) The hood is used and sold as is with no warranty. Ask for a shipping quote. The best shipping price is to a business with a loading dock or forklift to unload the truck. I need the business name and address. I ship to the lower 48 states only. Lexus teases Frankfurt SUV concept (2013)

Lexus has released the first picture of what’s expected to be its new SUV concept car, bound for the Frankfurt motor show in September 2013. Clearly set to employ the sharp-creased design and huge ‘spindle grille’ cues from the current Lexus range – not to mention the LF-LC coupe concept – Lexus is nevertheless staying tight-lipped on details of its new model. We’ll see the car revealed completely in early September.

Mercedes MLC Teased As far back as June we reported that Mercedes was planning on building a rival to the BMW X6 – which we dubbed the Mercedes MLC. Which made us conclude – when Mercedes announced it was adding a fifth model to its production line at it Alabama plant in the U.S. – that the car they would be churning out would be the M-Class Coupe.

The Bridgestone Potenza S001 - as fitted to the Ferrari 458 Italia I think it must be a petrol-head thing, but we love tyres. Anything from a cross-ply to the latest high-performance job is a source of fascination. Our tyre fixation this last few months has been winter tryes, and we’ve told anyone who’d listen not to rush out and buy a 4×4 when the snow hit but to invest in a decent set of winter tyres.
