For sale is the kick start spindle, gearing and associated springs and other hardware from a 1973 Honda CB500K2.  This will fit the following models:

  • CB500  A, K1 and K2
  • CB550  74 thru 78 K / 75 thru 77 F (Supersport)

This kick start spindle and gearing are in very good condition.  There is no abnormal wear.  The splines on the end of the spindle are all good.  The motor number from this bike is CB500E-2018779.  Please feel free to email at any time if you have questions concerning this item.  I gladly ship worldwide. Now, the automaker has collaborated with French artist Gerard Rancinan and writer Caroline Gaudriault for a moving art display for a VIP event in Los Angeles. Rancinan specializes in art of the human form while Gaudriault is a journalist by trade who has worked in Japan, Australia and France.

Ford Transit van gets five-cylinder turbodiesel

The full-size Ford Transit van that replaces the E-series Econoline in late 2013 will have a turbocharged five-cylinder diesel in its powertrain lineup. Today Ford uses the 3.2-liter engine in the Ranger pickup sold in international markets. The engine, which wears Ford's Power Stroke marketing name for diesel engines, is built in South Africa and will be exported to the Transit assembly plant near Kansas City, Mo.
