Jimbo Paranada and Marc Paguirigan wore their leis made of lucky Hawaiian ti leaves, but it wasn't quite enough to give the Maui High School students the win in the 62nd-annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills national competition on June 14 at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich. The Hawaiian duo finished second to the two-person team of Matthew Saunders and Drew Torrey from Vale High School in Vale, Ore. The Oregon pair won the title of "America's Best Student Auto Technicians," outscoring at field of state champions from all 50 states.

2011 Toyota Yaris gets two new models - T Spirit & SR The Toyota Yaris isn’t the coolest supermini on the block, but it does have a certain appeal and the benefit of being a proper ‘mini’ car – perfect around town. It even handles quite well, is well-built and has a surprising amount of room inside. Range Rover Evoque by Arden - the Arden AR8 City Roader It would be nice to think that the pimpers and preeners of nice bits of manufacturers metal would at least wait until a new car hits the road before adorning it with the automotive equivalent of a glitter ball, a spray tan and too much makeup. But, no. German tuner Arden has taken the funky Range Rover Evoque and made it ‘better’, delivering the end result as the Arden AE8 City Roader.
