Here is a rather nice 1973 Buick Special original stock AM FM radio. The model number is 74AFM1 . Even though this radio will fit many GM cars around 72 - 78 it is the stock original one for Buick Special Skylark in 1973. We have tested this radio and it plays rather well. It works good on AM and FM. This radio is a 4 speaker system. We believe two speakers in front two in back. When you turn the fader control knob it switches the sound from front to back.Every thing on this radio works as it should. Radio comes with the knobs in photo. We think they are the correct knobs but not 100% sure. Feel free to email questions or comments. If out side US ask for shipping cost.

BMW is facelifting its most controversial model, the X6. And what better way of tidying up this coupe-cum-SUV than adding a diesel M version? The new X6 M50d is among the first of a new range of stop-gap M models to slot between the full M GmbH cars and the trim-level M Sport models.

Porsche uses phone-formatted bar codes to connect with customers

Tue, 12 Jul 2011

Porsche is harnessing the power of smartphones, using Microsoft Tag bar codes to provide dealership customers with unique information about the cars they're looking at. Buyers can scan the square stickers with a properly equipped phone, and the application will take them to dedicated microsites where they can see stats, videos and pictures of the car, along with audio clips of a flat-six engine revving up. Through the microsite, buyers can provide contact info for a follow-up call from Porsche salespeople.

Ford promote accessible & affordable technology in new campaign

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Ford’s Active Park Assist parks a Focus on the roof of a skyscraper We do sometimes moan that cars are becoming so clever that it won’t be long before the driver’s just the blobby thing behind the wheel to keep an eye open as clever technology does its stuff. That said, modern technology is certainly doing wonders for tasks that many find irksome and difficult behind the wheel, and Ford are cleverly tapping in to their new technology to demonstrate just how helpful their new cars now are for the stressed driver with the Ford Primary Brand campaign. Ford‘s new Primary Brand campaign is focusing on technology like the new(ish) Active Park Assist that uses sensors to measure parking spaces as you drive by (not too quickly – you have to give it a chance) and then, at the push of a button – with the driver just following instructions for brake, gears and accelerator – neatly parks your new Ford for you.
