Here is a complete set-up of headlamps for Trans-am, Firebird 77-81. The set-up is in very good condition. Each bucket has been sandblasted, primed & repainted in black; the chrome on the retainer rings is very nice and shining. And each headlamp is working whatever HI or LO beam. Comes also with the retainer springs; please just tell me the year of your car so I can send the correct retainer spring (77-78 or 79-81). Could be spares or very good parts for your restoration. Which explains why the relatively sensible Ford Focus is being pimped to within an inch of its life for this year’s SEMA show. The SEMA Motor Show is a trade-only gathering – despite which it gets around 50k visitors – which the organisers call the “premier automotive specialty products trade event – in the world.” It attracts trade visitors from across the globe to see parts, tools and components and the ‘SEMA’ special cars brought along by car makers and car modifiers.
Chris Bangle resigns as BMW Group Design Director
Tue, 03 Feb 2009BMW today announced that Chris Bangle is resigning from his position as Head of Design for the BMW Group. Bangle will be handing over his post to current Head of BMW Automobile Design, Adrian van Hooydonk, when he leaves the company to pursue his own design-related endeavors outside the auto industry. Bangle has worked closely with van Hooydonk at BMW Group Design Development for nearly 17 years.
