DOOR WEATHERSTRIP SET, LEFT and RIGHT

1978-87 Chevrolet El Camino and GMC Caballero

Auction includes:
PN 20008188 (RH)
PN 20008189 (LH)

My dad, a GM retiree, purchased these direct from the GM Parts Warehouse for an El Camino restoration. (See yellow warehouse tags.)  The car was sold before these were installed.

CONDITION: factory new
- The boxes were factory sealed right up until I opened them for the pictures.   Both strips show minor wrinkling from being rolled up for packaging, but they smooth out when unwound.

- These are Genuine GM parts, which have since been discontinued.  Hard to find anywhere, at any price.  Not reproductions!

I'm told these fit 1978-1987, but please ensure these part numbers are correct for your vehicle before bidding.  No returns for improper applications.

Mazda previews the next 2 with the Hazumi concept

Imagine the same character lines, the same upward kink over the rear wheel, the same haunches as the 3 and the 6.

Civic hybrid tests Honda's new strategy

Despite being the first to sell an electric-gasoline car in the United States and making hybrid technology a centerpiece of its fuel economy push, Honda Motor Co. has yet to have a hybrid hit. But the redesigned Civic Hybrid, launched April 20, is the first test of whether Honda's new strategy of tapping lithium ion batteries and, later, two-motor systems can break the streak.

Buick to scrap trim levels

Thu, 06 May 2010

Buick will eliminate its “CX,” “CXL” and “CXS” trim levels in the 2012 model year, opting for a few “stair-step” packages instead, one of the brand's top marketers said today. “It isn't befitting a premium brand. No other premium brand has those designations,” said Craig Bierley, Buick-GMC director of advertising and sales promotion.
