Here is a LH side (driver) seat belt release actuator that will fit a 1979 Malibu and many other applications. It is in good used condition. I would often pick up good used parts in the yards while looking for items for my now gone 79 Malibu. I have had this item go out on me before and picked up a few over the years. It was annoying to not have the seat belt retract. See photos of actual item. Comes from a smoke free home. Good luck bidding.
