For sale are the front brake rotors from a 1981 Honda CB750C (Custom).  These will fit the following models:

  • CB750  81 and 82 C (Custom) / 79 thru 82 F (Supersport) / 82 & 83 SC (Nighthawk)
  • CB900  80 thru 82 C (Custom) / 81 & 82 F (Supersport)
  • CBX  79 & 80
  • GL1000  1979 Goldwing
  • GL1100  80 thru 82 Interstate and standard / 1982 Aspencade

These front brake rotors are in very good condition.  The braking surface is almost as slick as glass.  There are 5mm of braking surface remaining and the factory specs call for a minimum of 4mm.  Please feel free to email at any time if you have questions concerning this item.  I gladly ship worldwide. Aston Martin will show off special new versions of the V8 Vantage and the DB9 at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March. The updates to the two model ranges are very different in character, however. The V8 Vantage N430 is a race-inspired special with more power and less weight – not to mention a somewhat shouty paint job – while the DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White models are intended to bring a little extra luxury and style to the British marque’s Grand Touring model.

This time it’s the MINI SUV – either MINI Countryman or MINI Crossman – which is the new MINI 4×4 we can expect to see at the Geneva Motor Show in a few weeks. We had the MINI Brachcomber Concept at Detroit last week which was the first real ‘In the Metal’ clue on the new MINI SUV, admittedly without doors or a roof.

Vauxhall Ellesmere Port - Saved General Motors is to keep Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port open, move to three shift working and create 700 new jobs. The overcapacity of mainstream car manufacture in Europe as the market becomes ever more polarised between premium and budget cars – squeezing the middle – means car maker having to rationalise their output. Many thought that could mean the end of Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port as GM sought to stem its European losses (around £2 billion in the last three years), especially as it is easier to close plants and lay off workers in the UK than in mainland Europe.
