This 8.0L V10 engine was pulled from a stock 2002 Dodge Viper.  The vehicle was not wrecked and the engine was removed for a newer 8.3L.  The odometer had just clicked over to 20,000 miles a few days before the engine was pulled.  It has never been opened up.

The reworked 2.0-litre unit improves in economy and power, but the big news is a new 3.0-litre V6, which will be Peugeot’s most powerful production engine ever. The V6 unit was a joint development by PSA and Ford, and produces 241bhp and a hefty 331lb ft of torque between 1600 and 3600rpm.

The new Mercedes AMG GT (pictured) gets the new 503 bhp Twin-Turbo 4.0 litre V8 We’ve speculated that the new Mercedes AMG GT – and, for that matter, futures ’63′ AMGs – will get a new twin-turbo V8 to provide the power as Mercedes look to move away from the naturally aspirated 6.2 litre V8 in cars like the SLS. And this is it. A new 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 – the M178 engine – has been developed to replace the 6.2 litre V8 and, in initial tune, develops 503 bhp at 6250 rpm and 479lb/ft of torque from just 1750 rpm.

The Caprice will join the Impala and the Tahoe as the bow-tie brand's offerings for police. The new Chevy will feature a 6.0-liter V8 engine pumping out 355 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque.
