2012 Volkswagen Beetle Spied
Thu, 27 Jan 2011The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle looks almost production-ready Yes, the next generation of the ‘New’ VW Beetle us upon us, certainly if the spy shots we’ve got of an almost undisguised 2012 VW Beetle are anything to go by. More drivers skipping vital car servicing
Mon, 16 Sep 2013NEW RESEARCH has revealed that more than one in three motorists (39%) on our roads are thinking of skipping their next service. This means that for nearly 13 million motorists, the MOT test could be the only time their vehicle undergoes any kind of safety inspection. According to the survey carried out on behalf of KwikFit, one in ten (10%) UK motorists confessed they ‘never’ check their tyres and nearly one in seven (15%) admit they are currently experiencing a problem with their brakes but are not actively looking to repair it.
Second new London taxi of 2014 unveiled
Thu, 16 Jan 2014LONDONERS had better prepare themselves for another new generation of taxi, just days after Nissan confirmed its own assault on the Black Cab market. The plug-in hybrid Fraser-Nash Range Extended Electric Metrocab is capable of more than 75mpg and less than 50g/km of CO2, and is expected to cost no more than a current Hackney carriage. The company says the vehicle could save cabbies £30 to £40 per day in running costs and can go longer between fill-ups.
