You can rely upon Swiss concept specialists Rinspeed to release something suitably crazy on the run up to their home Geneva Motor Show – and 2014 is no different, it appears. This is the Rinspeed XchangE, a self-driving autonomous car that shows "what will move us tomorrow," according to the firm; it’s "the office and living room on wheels." Natch. New Volvo V40: Strong residual values predicted

New Volvo V40 – Strong residuals Volvo has had good news from the fleet industry with strong residuals forecast for the new 2012 Volvo V40 ahead of first customer cars. We’ve been very impressed with what we’ve seen of the new Volvo V40; it’s a car that is right on the money in its style, its pricing and its range (although we’d like to see something more exciting at the top end). And now, with production of the V40 under way and the first customer cars expected to arrive in the UK in September, Volvo has had very good news from the fleet industry and the people who set residual values for car finance.

Jaguar XFR-S Los Angeles Debut

A more powerful XFR – the Jaguar XFR-S – will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show this month with a more aggressive body kit and 542bhp. We’ve been expecting the arrival of the Jaguar XFR-S – a more powerful XFR – to take on the might of the latest M5 and E63 for some time, and Jaguar has revealed the XFR-S will get its debut at this month’s Lops Angeles Auto Show. All Jaguar has felt fit to do at this stage is tease the XFR-S with a single photos (above) and no detail, but it seems probable the XFR will get the same sort of makeover to to create the XFR-S as the XKR got to give us the XKR-S.
