THIS SALE IS FROM A CENTER CONSOLE SHIFTER PLATE-AUTOMATIC TAKEN FROM A 1988 FIREBIRD.
THIS IS IN DAILY DRIVER CONDITION, NOT SHOW.
BEGINNING WITH THE ASHTRAY, IT DOES OPEN BUT IT IS SLOW, SPRING AND ALL THE GEARS ARE ON IT, MAY JUST NEED WD-40. IT HAS A USED ASHTRAY AND NO CIGARETTE LIGHTER.
RIGHT BELOW THE ASHTRAY DOOR IT HAS WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SMALL BURN.
ALL THE INDICATORS, P,R,N,OD,D,2,AND 1 ARE BRIGHT WHITE. THERE IS SOME WEAR TO THE SIDE NEXT TO THESE INDICATORS.
BELOW THE SHIFTER BOOT THERE IS ALSO WHAT LOOKS TO BE A BURN, A SMALL SCRATCH TO THE FAR LEFT SIDE AND 2 VERY SMALL IMPERFECTIONS.
THE TWO LOWER SCREW HOLES ARE NOT BROKEN AND THERE IS NOT A SINGLE CRACK OR BROKEN PIECE ON THE PLATE.
PLEASE NOTE THE LAST PICTURE. THE TOP 2 SCREW HOLES THAT YOU SCREW THE SHIFTER INTO ARE PARTIALL BROKEN BUT I BELIEVE THAT SCREWS CAN STILL HOLD.
THE SHIFTER BOOT HAS TWO TEARS.
I HAVE DONE MY BEST TO TELL YOU AND SHOW YOU WITH MANY PICTURES, THAT IT IS NOT PERFECT, ALTHOUGH IT IS STILL A VERY USEABLE PIECE.

Honda unveils Insight Hybrid
Thu, 04 Dec 2008Honda has released the first official images of the Prius-fighting Honda Insight, which is due to launch in the New Year at the Detroit Motor Show, and be in UK Car showrooms in the Spring of 2009. Honda has been sceptical about the future of the Hybrid/Electric car, and has expressed the view that it believes the long term future lies in Hydrogen powered EVs, rather than EVs per se. But this is a sensible move by Honda to take away sales from the Toyota Prius.
Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept (2012)
Fri, 24 Feb 2012Land Rover is exploring a convertible version of the Evoque, and will make a production decision ‘within six months’. Design director Gerry McGovern unveiled the ‘fresh out of the workshop’ concept at Pinewood Studios today (February 24); the car will make its public debut at the Geneva show in March. The Evoque convertible concept has a powered soft-top roof with a glass rear screen, which stows in a recess below the rear deck.
