And that process has been exactly the path the arrival of the new Jaguar F-Type has followed, from the F-Type Coupe as the C-X16 Concept through to the camouflaged F-Type Roadsters we’ve seen on film, on video and in the flesh.

Mon, 13 May 2013Mercedes has announced the hottest E-class you can buy, the E63 AMG S, will cost from £83,470 in the UK from June 2013. In uprated 'S' guise, the 577bhp/580lb ft exec saloon monster can only be ordered with 4Matic all-wheel drive in left-hand drive markets, but the UK gets only rear-drive cars. Audi planning their own version of the electric VW e-Up
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Perhaps the most promising EVs from Audi so far have been the A2 EV (pictured above) and the A1 range extender with a small Wankel engine in the boot to charge the battery. But even they were dropped from Audi’s production plans last year. But now it seems Audi are back in the production EV game with plans to produce an Audi e-tron using the underpinnings of the electric VW e-Up, but with Audi styling and an upmarket Audi interior and high-end Infotainment.
