The stock catalytic converter is meant to filter the flow of exhaust gases to reduce the amount of harmful gases into the atmosphere. Because of this, lots of potential performance is restrained. High Flow Test Pipes eliminate the stock catalytic converter and reduce exhaust backpressure. It won’t please Subaru Impreza nuts in the UK as they’ll get no chance to get their hands on one, but for those in Japan it’s great news. Unlike the rather lame Subaru WRX STI Carbon (or Impreza Pipe & Slippers as we like to think of it), the R205 is hard-core. Subaru has plucked a chunk of bits from the ‘Spec C’ bin to create the R205.

The Vision Gran Turismo car has been created by Mercedes design team without the constraints of the real world, so we get a Mercedes supercar that goes a little beyond practical realities. There’s a great big statement grill that looks like an evolution of a 1950s Mercedes racer, a long bonnet, a compact cabin area and a back end with a tapered roof construct and huge bulging arches.
