Everyone once in a while in my travels through salvage yards you come across a car you never saw before and you know you will never see again. It absolutely does not belong in a junkyard and you have no idea how it got there. This is one such car. A 1992 Mercedes V12 600SEL. The car could be started and ran well. It is visually Perfect with absolutely no dents. The plush Leather Black upholstery is like new. Need some bullet proof Glass - look no further this car has it. The only thing wrong with this silver beast is that it looks like it was parked under a tree for several years. Someone might have had some plans for a restoration and then just gave up and junked this beauty or maybe the owner died or was arrested and the car was abandoned. You are bidding on a Used GENERAL MULTI FUNCTION MODULE removed from a 1992 Mercedes 600SEL V12 Sedan. The car only has 74000 miles on the odometer. The odometer may or may not work - I have no way of knowing. This Unit is GUARANTEED to work to your satisfaction. The part numbers of the Unit you wish to replace must match the part numbers of this Unit. To the best of my knowledge his Unit was found in 1992 1993 1994 Mercedes S600 600SEL and 600SEC Models with the big V12 Six Cylinder Engine and ASR. Jaguar Land Rover open new engineering test centre in Dubai
Sun, 12 May 2013Jaguar Land Rover are growing at a tremendous rate, and that means more and more testing of cars to make sure they can cope with the extremes of climate they’re subjected to by owners around the world. So as part of their growing test programme, JLR have extended their testing and engineering facilities in the Al Barsha area of Dubai so they can test durability, calibration and hot weather testing for heat and humidity as well as test the powertrains, chassis, HVAC and, as this is Dubai and it has plenty of sand, they can also give the Land Rover Terrain Response systems a proper workout. JLR has been hot weather testing in Dubai for more than 12 years – an area where temperatures can reach 50 degrees Celsius – and the new facility replaces a much smaller one in the same area, and joins Jaguar Land Rover’s other test facilities at the Nurburgring, Arjeplog in Sweden and Phoenix and International Falls in the States to ensure all JLR’s new cars get subjected to everything from extreme hot and cold to track work.

Sergio Marchionne is a big believer that the only way to survive as a mainstream car maker is to be as big as possible and share development costs whenever you can. Which explains – from the Fiat point of view – why Alfa Romeo has entered in to an agreement to produce a new roadster with Mazda to be based on the next generation Mazda MX-5 RWD platform.
