Shipping

I will give you my shipping address when the auction ends. Buyer is responsible to ship the item to me.

Packages should be insured. If you do not insure your shipment I will not be responsible for damaged items that I receive. Pack well with padding such as bubble wrap or newspaper.

If possible do not send vents with unit.

The default shipping is USPS Priority Mail to get the unit back to you as soon as possible. Cheaper shipping options are available.

If your address is not correct I will work with you to re-ship (at your expense). It is ultimately NOT my responsibility if an unintended recipient keeps the package. Make sure the address you have listed is current and complete.

Warranty Info

LIFETIME WARRANTY

Before sending the unit back check to make sure that a fuse is not blown!

If the unit fails to function within the warranty period, send it back and I will take care of the rest. Shipping not refundable. If you are an international buyer you must cover all warranty shipping costs.

=== The 3 tungsten light bulbs are not covered under warranty. If a light is out and the functions still work it means a light bulb is blown. They are as easy to change as a household light bulb. I do not replace these bulbs, I dont have a stock of them. They can be purchased from a Honda dealer. ===

Units that have attempted repairs by someone other than me will not be covered under warranty.

Removal Instructions

First the shifter console must be removed. There are screws holding it on, two are hidden up above the radio area, and some are easily visible on the passenger and driver side. If the car has an automatic transmission, first remove the square trim piece around the shifter by gently prying it upwards (and also put the shift lever in the gear “1” position.) The console should come up easily.

Next remove the radio bezel, there are 4 screws. Disconnect any plugs that are plugged in (usually radio, lighter, antenna). Then the radio will come away freely.

Now the climate control:

There will be two more screws under the two hidden screws described above. There is a 3rd screw under the climate control that doesnt seem like it would be holding the CC on, but it does.

Next remove the green plug. You really have to get your finger up there to press the release clip. The brown plug has to come out too, this one is easier.

Next, look under the passenger side dash while sliding the temp control back and forth. You'll see a cable moving. Disconnect this cable.

The climate control should slide out.

**When re-installing, avoid over tightening the screws; this will crack the plastic.

Thank you!

Honda readies its jet airplane -- for real this time

Thu, 22 May 2014

Honda would like to remind you that while journalists have spent the last few years fretting whether the Big H has "lost its way," the company has quietly launched, shelved, resurrected, and all but waited out its plan to dominate the business-jet skies, which we are to assume are less friendly than United's. The HA-420 HondaJet has been kicking around for more than 10 years now, but the very first production-ready plane just rolled off the assembly line in Greensboro, N.C., this week -- and, Honda promises, the $4.5 million business jet should be delivered in the second quarter of next year. Honda began taking orders for the jet in 2006, but the long recession squashed the market for private jets.

Nizam of Hyderabad’s 1912 Rolls Royce Siver Ghost Throne Car has done just 356 miles

Mon, 13 Feb 2012

The newly restored 1912 Silver Ghost Throne car One of the first Rolls Royce in India – the Nizam of Hyderabad’s 1912 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Throne car – has been restored to its original glory. In 1911 the 6th Nizam of Hyderabad – Mehboob Ali Khan - ordered a Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, and had it sent off to Bakers of Edinburgh to create a very special body, fit for Nizam (think Maharajah, the generic term for Indian Royalty). The brief was to create a body that would be a throne on wheels, and Bakers duly obliged creating a Silver Ghost with rich yellow paintwork, a silver domed roof, gold mountings and fittings and an interior trimmed with silk and brocade.

Mercedes-Benz has big plans for small cars

Mon, 31 Jan 2011

Breaking outside its American position of rear-wheel-drive luxury vehicles, Mercedes-Benz will launch its new front-wheel-drive architecture in the United States in the next three years in the form of a coupe, SUV and possibly a small wagon or compact hatchback. Joachim Schmidt, Mercedes' global sales and marketing boss, said Mercedes is developing at least four models based on its MFA, or Mercedes Front-wheel-drive Architecture. "We will introduce the next generation of our MFA family to the U.S.," Schmidt said in an interview.
