Here is a replacement window strut attaching HARDWARE SET for a 93-02 Mercury Villager and Nissan Quest.

This is the hardware that attaches the lift strut to the window in the rear hatch / tailgate of the van. Fits either of the two struts.

NOW FOR THE GOOD PART: This hardware set is a genuine Ford product from a later model vehicle and it is designed much stronger than the original hardware that was used on the earlier Villager/Quest. As you probably already know, the original Villager hardware would strip out and bend very easily. Ford redesigned and strengthened this window hardware for use on the later model vehicles. Fortunately this same newer heavy duty hardware set can also be used on the older Villager/Quest vans too.

Photos #1 and 2 show the heavy duty hardware set you will receive. The next two photos show this heavy duty hardware installed in a Villager rear hatch window. The last photo shows the older weaker hardware that came originally on the van (for comparison).

 These are designed to outlast the life of the vehicle.

This listing is for one rear window hardware set as shown, more than one may be available (one set does one strut). No additional shipping if more than one set is needed.

This will replace the hardware for one strut. You can mix and match these with the old hardware (so if you need only one side replaced, it is fully compatible with the older hardware on the other strut).
