Holidaymakers to drive over 1,000 miles

BRITISH families will rack up a total of 15.7 billion miles in their own cars during holidays this year. Research from Kwik-Fit suggests that motorists using their vehicle for trips will drive an average of 1,082 miles each. The vast majority of these trips will be within the UK, with 13.2 million cars being used for domestic holidays.

This year 15 students, led by tutors Aaamer Mahmud and CDN contributor, Nick Hull, are completing the 16-month postgraduate course. With just weeks left in the year, Chevrolet’s hot-selling Camaro looks like a lock to win the pony-car sales title in 2010, topping the Ford Mustang for the first time in 25 years. So far this year--Camaro’s first full sales year since production ended after the 2002 model year--Chevy has sold 75,685 Camaro coupes. Mustang sales totaled 68,264 through the first 11 months of the year.
