You are bidding on an motor pulled from a 1995 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 800. We test rode this bike before dismantle ... the motor ran strong and sounded amazing. A clean engine as you can see from the pics, just some normal dirt and grime. Some finish flake which is expected on a motor of this age. Mileage on the motor is 21K... good miles for the year. Several pics posted so you can see exactly what you are bidding on.
Documents... Motor will come with a bill of sale from our shop that will include the VIN of the bike it was pulled from (upon request) ... so no worries on where the motor came from.
Shipping... We will ship this motor via freight terminal to terminal service or to a business with dock / forklift (unloading capability). You will need to pick up the motor at a terminal location if you chose that option. Email us for more details on shipping details and prices. INTERCHANGE ... This motor will work on a 1995 VN800 for sure. Should work on a 1995-2006 VN800 as there were very little changes through out those years. Please check with you dealer or online to be sure it will fit your bike.

Dodhy motors warning to buyers
Mon, 04 Nov 2013MORE THAN half of those seeking help for "dodgy deal" second-hand car purchases experience faults with their vehicle within a month of buying it, according to Citizens Advice. Essential repairs include smoke emerging from the engine, corroded brake pipes and snapped clutches. Of the 2,519 complaints to Citizens Advice about used cars in the first two weeks of September, a total of 83% were about faults.
