The new VW Golf R has been revealed and it’s the fastest version of the iconic hatch ever. The all-wheel drive flagship Golf now has 296bhp, up from 267bhp, with its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive sending the six-speed DSG version from 0-62mph in a feisty 4.9sec – matching the BMW M135i, but still shy of the Mercedes A45 AMG, which cracks it in 4.6sec. Saratoga Automobile Museum celebrates 60 years of Porsche

A 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 and a 1986 Porsche 961, hot off their trip to the Rennsport Reunion IV, have joined the Saratoga Automobile Museum's exhibit “Porsche: 60 Years of Speed and Style in North America.” The display runs until Jan. 31. The exhibit at the museum in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., is sponsored by Porsche Cars North America and New Country Porsche.

As part of last year's celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Nissan Design, Nissan Motor Company held an exhibition entitled 'Passion & Imagination: Nissan Design 50th Anniversary & Future' at its two galleries in Ginza, downtown Tokyo from late July to mid-August. Both galleries were crowded with more than 48,000 visitors in total. The exhibition showcased the historical achievements of Nissan's design department over the last fifty years, as well as its future design vision.
