IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

This auction is for the following item:

This is a used Transfer Case Adapter

Mates a 4x4 4R70W Transmission to a Warner 4406 Transfer Case

Casting Number: F2TP 7A040 BA

It is in good used condition

I saw no damage to the unit

I guarantee it to be functional

I had a really hard time figuring out what all this will fit.

I have found the same unit on F150's and light duty F250's

from 97-04 (heritage), in trucks with the 4R70W and Warner 4406.

The part has a 1992 part number on it (starts with "F2") so apparently

it fits trucks as early as 1992, but I don't have any information as to

which transmission/xfer case combination used it in that year.

AOD Transmissions are the earlier form of the 4R70W, and Ford used

several types of Warner transfer case, but I do not know if they

all used this same adapter. I also don't know if it will bolt up to

other transmissions (E40D, C6, or the various manual trannies used...)

The best way to figure out if this will work for you is

to match up the casting number found on the side.

It is the buyer's responsibility to determine

if this part will fit his/her vehicle

LENNON'S FIRST CAR UNDER THE HAMMER

    Thu, 10 Oct 2013

THE FIRST car bought by John Lennon after he passed his driving test is being offered for sale at auction next month. The Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Coupe was bought by the Beatle in 1965 and is expected to sell for between 120,000 euros (£99,987) and 170,000 euros (£141,000). Lennon's biographer, Philip Norman, described how car dealers descended on the singer's home when the news emerged that he had passed his test and offered him a "gleaming smorgasbord" of luxury cars.
