Up for auction are a nice pair of forks, with brand new BBR springs and 20w oil; from a 2003 XR70 that Im parting out. Also includes the stock springs too! I guarantee it to fit the bike I took it off of, and it will fit a lot other years and models, but its up to you do determine and confirm any other fitment/interchange. The forks are in great shape, the legs are not bent, and the seals do not leak. I changed the fork and installed the HD springs, and never finished the bike. Sold exactly as pictured and as-is. See my other auctions for other parts from this bike. because Im selling all of it, including the stock motor, frame w/title and everything else. I bought this bike a while back to use as a pit bike, and to teach my fiancé how to ride; but Ive decided to use another bike I have for both of those tasks. This bike was always kid ridden; not beat on and ridden hard by an adult(the way it would have been if I kept it)... Im a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, Im not a shop, and this is not my main job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. Porsche celebrates 2 million Facebook fans with museum car
Wed, 18 Jan 2012Porsche hit 2 million friends on Facebook this week, and to celebrate, the company dedicated a car to all of them. The new Porsche Cayman S got a coat of white paint before each friend's profile picture was digitally added to the surface. They're all tinted in red, giving the car a candy-coated look, and the front-plate area reads "100% Porsche, 100% you." Fans also were asked to vote for their favorite historic racing livery.
Range Rover Evoque Sport to get new 3.0L V6 Supercharged
Fri, 29 Jun 2012Reports suggest that Land Rover will bolt the new Jaguar 3.0L V6 Supercharged in the Evoque to create the Range Rover Evoque Sport. We’ve been mulling the probability of a Range Rover Evoque Sport since last year when we asked whether the inevitable Sport version of the Evoque would come with a turned-up Ecoboost lump or whether it would get the new Supercharged V6 Jaguar are putting in their cars. Last month we looked at the Evoque Sport again after it was revealed that Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern has been driving round in an Evoque with an EcoBoost engine running at around 300bhp, suggesting the Ecoboost was perhaps the favoured option.
