Nissan is introducing the GT-R Special Edition for 2014, slathered in Midnight opal black paint. Only 50 units will be available in the United States, 100 worldwide. The Special Edition, which is based on the Premium model, gets the unique paint, dry carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and forged aluminum wheels with a “hyper-titanium” coating.

It's a typically modern rebranding: the graphic designers have zoomed in on the upper torso of the griffin, giving it a sharper, modern look and the word Vauxhall is now incorporated in the badge.The company's grille-wide V front end will be abandoned, the new grille preferring an Opel-style roundel, enlarged and sitting slap bang in the middle of the grille.
