Driving the Chevy Volt isn't special, and that's good

We've had our first taste of the drive system under development for General Motors' pioneering Chevrolet Volt, piloting a test mule based on the Chevrolet Cruze at the company's Warren (Mich.) Technical Center, and it left us hungering for more. Yes, it's an electric car, but mostly, it's a car--one you could imagine driving every day without feeling as if you were engaged in a lab experiment. McLaren celebrates 20th anniversary of the legendary McLaren F1

McLaren Automotive celebrated the 20th anniversary of the start of the F1 program by inviting F1 owners past and present to a celebration dinner at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, England. The owners were treated to a display of 21 McLaren F1 road and race cars, the largest number of F1 cars ever assembled in one place. It all started in 1988, when McLaren made the decision to expand from Formula One and design and build what it called "the finest sports car the world had ever seen." In March 1990, the team created to build that car came together for the first time.

Survey Finds Honda’s Jazz Hits All The Right Notes

YOU won’t usually find much fanfare accompanying Honda’s Jazz supermini, but the compact hatch clearly hits all the right notes as far as its owners are concerned. And this has been confirmed by the latest Auto Express Driver Power survey, with the Jazz scoring an impressive reliability score of 98 per cent. Up 1.2 per cent on its 2013 score, the British built Honda Jazz climbed two places to take the top podium finish in this year’s results.
