This came off a well running, dyno tested, carbureted, 1999 Harley Davidson FLHTC Electra Glide Classic 1450cc 88ci twin cam 5 speed with 34,110 known miles on it. The 2010 Mercedes E Class Cabrio with AirCap deployed The next generation Mercedes E Class Cabriolet is due to turn up at next month’s Detroit Motor Show and go on sale in the Spring in the UK – just in time for some open-topped motoring as the sky clears and the sun starts to shine (or it pours with rain – global warming, don’t you know). Which is all fine and dandy if you’re just cruising round town at low speeds and you’ve got hats on, otherwise the expensive coiffures of your passengers may well get wrecked by the buffeting once the roof is down as you blat along, leaving them looking as if they’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. But not any more.

Citroen C1 Recall – only 36 UK cars affected

Citroen are recalling just 36 cars in the UK over the sticky throttle problem Yesterday we ran a story on the Toyota Recall spreading to affect Citroen and Peugeot, and commenting that we thought the number of cars in the UK that would be affected would be relatively small, certainly in comparison to the number of Toyotas affected. And it turns out we were right – just 36 Citroen C1s sold in the UK have a potential problem. Which is very good news for Citroen.

New Hyundai i30 Tourer starts production

The new Hyundai i30 Tourer (Estate) has gone in to production in the Czech Republic, extending the range of the new i30. The latest Hyundai i30 is proving to be a proper success story for Hyundai, selling almost 60,000 units in the few months it’s actually been moving out of Hyundai showrooms in Europe. And now Hyundai look set to increase i30 sales further with the i30 Tourer (that’s ‘Estate’ in English, even if Hyundai PR did manage to refer to it as the i30 Wagon in the Geneva press release to the extent we thought they might launch it as the Hyundai i30 Wagon) starting its production run at Hyundai’s facility in Nošovice in the Czech Republic.
