   A, F and X- Body MBM Drilled and Slotted Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit with 2" Drop Spindles and Red Powdercoated Calipers. Wheel kit features 11" drilled and slotted rotors, loaded red powdercoated large GM calipers, caliper brackets, backing plates, 2" drop spindles w/ nuts, washers, dust caps and seals. Brake lines and banjo bolts included and requires 15" minimum diameter wheels. Master cylinder is a Corvette style and designed for use with disc/disc or disc/drum brakes. The booster is an 8 inch dual diaphragm which offers better stopping than single diaphragm boosters and holds more vacuum than 7 inch boosters.  Kit also includes proportioning valve which will be your choice of disc/disc or disc/drum. The base kit includes standard chrome master cylinder pictured with booster. Upgraded master cylinders (smooth top or ball-milled) are available. Optional master cylinders are pictured separately. Kit comes with chrome brackets, adjustable connecting rod, proportioning valve bracket and brake lines.

Henrik Fisker resigns from Fisker Automotive

Henrik Fisker, founder and executive chairman of struggling plug-in hybrid vehicle maker Fisker Automotive, has resigned. In an email today to Automotive News, Henrik Fisker, referring to himself in the third person, said: "The main reasons for his resignation are several major disagreements that Henrik Fisker has with the Fisker Automotive executive management on the business strategy." Fisker confirmed his resignation in a phone interview and declined to comment further. Tony Posawatz, who became president and CEO of the company in August, said this morning that he had just been made aware of the resignation.

First Dacia Duster SUVs leave India bound for the UK

The first Dacia Duster SUVs built in RHD for the UK market left India this morning to help satisfy Renault’s growing order book for the Duster. With the sort of response the Duster has received in the UK – with prices for the entry-level Duster starting at just £9k – Renault are no doubt wishing they’d brought the Duster to the UK sooner. But such was the demand for the Duster in mainland Europe and emerging markets that they just couldn’t get production of RHD Dusters organised for the UK until now, when Renault’s plant at Oragadam, near Chennai in India, finally managed to satisfy its home market demand sufficiently to leave enough capacity for RHD cars bound for the UK and Ireland to roll off the production line.
