Thu, 13 Mar 2014Ferrari is to build Ferrari Land – a new Prancing Horse theme park, inside the PortAventura resort outside Barcelona in Spain. It’s the second Ferrari theme park of its kind, following the successful Ferrari World Park in Abu Dhabi. The news comes after a commitment from Ferrari’s chairman Luca di Montezemolo to cut production of its road cars in a bid to preserve the brand’s exclusivity.
College Exhibition: Munich University of Applied Sciences 'Intelligent Emotion' project

The eleven studies to the brief of 'Intelligent Emotion', are imaginative proposals for transportation in the future, and range from a lightweight interior layout to a hybrid supercar. "The results are impressive", says Wolfgang Egger, head of Audi Group Design.
Design Contest: Local Motors and Shell announce 'DRIVEN' [w/video]
Thu, 19 Jan 2012Local Motors, the open-source car design community, has announced its latest competition. Working in collaboration with Shell Oils, the DRIVEN contest is an acronym for Design of Relevant and Innovative Vehicles for Energy Needs. Entrants are asked to create a car for one of five cities: Amsterdam, Bangalore, Basra, Houston or Sao Paulo.
