DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION

ALL OF OUR PARTS ARE CONSIDERED “CHECKED, GOOD USED.”  (EXCEPT VALVE BODIES – SEE BELOW)   MOST OF OUR PARTS COME FROM VEHICLES THAT RAN PRIOR TO AN ACCIDENT AND THEY HAVE HAD THEIR GOOD WORKING PARTS REMOVED.  THOSE PARTS ARE INSPECTED AND VERIFIED TO BE WITHIN ACCEPTABLE TOLERANCES.  THE PRODUCT YOU BUY WILL BE EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE PICTURED IN THIS LISTING.

***VALVE BODIES – OUR VALVE BODIES ARE SOLD AS “USED” BECAUSE WE CANNOT TEST THEM.  PLEASE KNOW THAT 98% OF TRANSMISSION FAILURES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE VALVE BODY, SO WE ASSUME THAT THE ONE YOU’RE GETTING DOES WORK.  IF IT DOESN’T, WE WILL ACCEPT A RETURN.   SEE OUR RETURN POLICY.

RETURN POLICY

WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT THE PART YOU’RE GETTING IS A GOOD WORKING PART.  WE ALSO STRIVE TO MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF SATISFACTION WITH OUR COSTUMERS SO THAT YOU COME BACK IN THE FUTURE WHEN ADDITIONAL PARTS ARE NEEDED.

THE ITEM YOU’RE BUYING COMES WITH A 14 DAY RETURN POLICY.  IF THERE’S ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOUR PART, PLEASE RETURN IT FOR AN EXCHANGE OR A REFUND WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR DRUMS ARE 'LOADED' MEANING THEY HAVE THE FRICTIONS AND STEELS IN THEM.  THIS PROTECTS THE DRUM FROM DAMAGE DURING TRANSIT.  THOSE INTERNAL PARTS ARE NOT ALWAYS GOING TO BE IN PERFECT CONDITION.  THE DRUM ITSELF IS "CHECKED GOOD USED" BUT THE CLUTCHES MAY NOT BE.  WE WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHANGE THOSE WHENEVER YOU'RE DOING A TRANSMISSION REBUILD.  IF YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL NEEDS OR REQUESTS ABOUT THIS ITEM, PLEASE SEND A MESSAGE AHEAD OF TIME.  THANK YOU!!!

Range Rover & Range Rover Sport updated for 2015

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

The Range Rover (pictured) and Range Rover Sport updated The Range Rover and Range Rover Sport both seem like ‘new’ Range Rovers, but that’s not stopping Land Rover from updating both models for 2015. Under the bonnet, the SDV8 gets tweaked to deliver an extra 29lb/ft of torque – now with 545lb/ft – and a fuller torque curve between 1700 and 3300rpm. The effect of that extra torque is an improvement of 6.5 per cent in in-gear acceleration from fifth to eighth gear and better towing ability.

College Exhibition: IED Fiat/Chrysler project

Fri, 13 Nov 2009

Second year students at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin, Italy, recently completed a Fiat/Chrysler sponsored project, which began in February 2009. Conceived as a didactic exercise to think about the recent alliance between Fiat and Chrysler, 37 students were asked to design a vehicle capable of combining the technical know-how, platforms and values of both brands in order to generate interesting and competitive new products for the European and the American markets. In creating their concepts, students were asked to take into account the style, economic accessibility and the low environmental impact of Fiat vehicles as well as the new platforms and major industrial and production capacity afforded by the Italian automaker's alliance with the Chrysler brand.
