Mustang Boss 302 always supposed to be a quick run, Fields says
Mon, 08 Apr 2013The abbreviated run of the track-oriented Ford Mustang Boss 302 was by design, says Ford Motor Co. COO Mark Fields. Speaking April 6 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, Fla., Fields told Speed TV the two-year availability helps protect the Mustang's value for collectors.
Porsche 911 Sport Classic introduced
Wed, 02 Sep 2009Porsche has announced a Limited Edition Porsche 911 that will launch at Frankfurt - The Porsche 911 Sport Classic Porsche has plundered its history to build in to the 911 Sport Classic styling cues from the past. The Sport Classic gets a ‘Duck-Tail’ rear spoiler (thank you, 1973 Carrera RS 2.7) and ‘Fuchs-Style’ alloys (ditto – at least in terms of chronology). You can also throw in to the mix a double-bubble roof (Carrera GT et al) and black surrounds to the headlights, which is evocative of the 1970s Porsche racers. So having thrown every design cue that fits from its history, what else does the 911 SC get?
2012 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 loads up with power, and snakeskin leather
Tue, 09 Aug 2011Fortified with snakeskin interior leather accents and 22-inch rollers, the Harley-Davidson edition of the Ford F-150 returns for 2012. A white platinum tri-coat is also added for the new model year. Power comes from the 6.2-liter V8 rated at 411 hp and 434 lb-ft of torque.
