Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner is a 100% water-based cleaner that safely and effectively cleans tires and all types of wheels! This advanced formula takes advantage of new breakthroughs in chemical engineering, creating a new class of non-ionic cleaner that does not release harmful zwitterions.

What does that all mean to you? You can safely use it on most types of wheels including clear coated, painted, coated and anodized aluminum. The active ingredient in this cleaner was developed in America to replace the acids, butyl and butyl ethers found in most tire and wheel cleaning products, which have been proven harmful to both wheels and nature.

It's an unfortunate fact that most wheel cleaners made and sold in America contain butyl or butyl ether. Although butyl is a highly effective cleaner, as well as inexpensive, it is harmful to man and the environment. Plus, butyl will white-stain aluminum and damage clear coated wheels, powder coating finishes it is also very harsh on your skin, causes respiratory distress when inhaled, and it is not readily biodegradable.

Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner contains no butyl or petroleum distillates! Plus, our new Green Wheel Cleaner biodegrades 98% in less than 24 hours, protecting our surface waters from polluted storm drain runoff.

This is not a spray-on, hose-off cleaner. Adam's Green Wheel Cleaner requires agitation with a brush, sponge, or wash mitt to break the initial bond between the dirt and the wheel. Spray-on, hose-off type wheel cleaners are harsh, acid based cleaners that damage wheels over time.

PRO TIP! Never clean wheels while they are hot. Even the mildest cleaners have the potential to cause damage when sprayed onto very hot surfaces. Always allow your wheels to cool before using a cleaning product on them.

From the Ford Mustang Mayhem package to the Toyota Prius plural campaign, conventional wisdom is there's nothing a few thousand Facebook fans can't handle. The latest automaker to hop the train is Honda, which is sponsoring a creative songwriting competition called the Sounds of Civic to mark the debut of the 2012 Honda Civic.

Studebaker trees: Dead company, living advertisement

Thu, 28 Apr 2011

Some of you may have seen this already; it’s been popular on the map sites for a while. But those who don’t know about Bendix Woods County Park west of South Bend, Ind., feast your eyes on 5,000 pine trees, planted in 1937, spelling Studebaker when viewed from high enough. Bendix Woods park was formerly the Studebaker proving grounds, and much of the track surface is still visible in satellite photos.

First Sight: BMW at the 2012 London Olympics

Wed, 27 Jun 2012

Director of BMW i design Benoît Jacob showed Car Design News the i Pedelec bicycle alongside a new version of the i3 concept at the company's new Park Lane ‘i store' in London. The compact bike folds artfully into the boot of the car, recharging its batteries when stowed. Made in limited numbers, a few i Pedelecs will run outside its contractual fleet of 4,000 vehicles at the London Olympics.
