Chrysler Delta arriving at UK dealers – Chrysler Ypsilon arrives September
Fri, 26 Aug 2011Chrysler Delta - now arriving in UK dealers There’s a long history of Lancia in the UK being associated with grief. So much so that Lancia left the UK market altogether in 1994. Volvo V60 diesel plug-in hybrid – again
Mon, 21 Feb 2011Volvo V60 Plug-in Diesel Hybrid Last month we reported on the innovative Volvo V60 diesel plug-in hybrid, a proper advance in hybrid gubbins which Volvo are planning on revealing – in practically production-ready form – at next weeks Geneva Motor Show. But now Volvo has churned out a chunky press release to tell us exactly what the V60 plug-in hybrid will offer, so we thought we ought to revisit this story one more time before Geneva.
Saturn alerts customers it is considering a spinoff
Thu, 19 Feb 2009Saturn has begun alerting customers that it may be spun off by General Motors as an independent marketing and distribution company. In a letter sent to about 1.5 million Saturn owners Wednesday night, Saturn said it would have to line up products to sell--either from other manufacturers or from GM in the role of a vendor--after GM's current commitment to build Saturn products ends after the 2012 model year. "The Saturn Distribution Corporation already exists as an indirect subsidiary of GM," wrote Jill Lajdziak, general manager of Saturn, in the letter.
