It IS the Pagani Huayra We’ve had a little blat of activity over the last week or so on the replacement for the Pagani Zonda – the car we have known until recently only by its Pagani codename – the Pagani C9. Yesterday we ran a story that reported Pagani registering the name Pagani Huayra with EU trademark agencies, which we thought may point to the name for the C9.
Hyundai global design teams develop 'My Baby' internal project contest ideas
Thu, 04 Jul 2013Hyundai has revealed the designs submitted for its 'My Baby' global internal design project. The project – a biennial contest that started in 2008 – asked the carmaker's design teams to use ‘new thinking' to preview a future without technological or manufacturing limits. Hyundai designers from bases in Korea, the USA, China, Japan, Europe and India were also tasked with reinterpreting and developing the carmaker's ‘Fluidic Sculpture' design language.
Partnership Premium 2030 - The results
Mon, 06 Sep 2010Strate College in Paris, France, has released the final video of its Partnership Premium 2030 project created in collaboration with French automaker Peugeot. The culmination of a four month project, this most recent episode from Strate College covers the final designs and scenarios students presented to Peugeot's design staff at the firm's Design Center. The video features excerpts of interviews with the 10 student teams – each comprised of three students – on the French university's transport design course, who explain the rationale behind their chosen individual scenarios and the resulting concepts.
