When we first started manufacturing these for motorcycles many years ago we initially used pot metal and found that the weight was too heavy (which required drilling mounting holes) for motorcycle fender applications and that customers felt uneasy about drilling holes in perfectly good fenders. We finally went to the motorcycle manufacturers and found that they use injection molded plastic that is triple chromed on all chromed emblems used. This manufacturing process costs (price is getting higher now due to cost of oil) us the same yet results in less weight, corrosion free parts and easy mounting for the customer which is both removable or permanant...whichever you choose. The raw materials used to manufacture our products are resistant to weather conditions and U.V., and reliable as permanent adhesion.....or removable if you choose. These raw materials are approved & recognized by the automotive industry. This is why we can guarantee the quality of our product. Have you ever noticed the pitting and corrosion on old "pot metal" emblems???......Yet another reason automotive manufacturers made the change to injected resins 20 years ago. Our chrome electroplating stands up to outdoor conditions due to chromium’s anti-rust properties. Not only can they take environmental conditions, these parts are very durable and constant handling or weather conditions will not affect them. Lotus's new 2010 Elise dips below 150g/km of CO2
Fri, 09 Apr 2010By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 April 2010 07:53 The new facelifted 2011 model year Lotus Elise has cut its CO2 output by nearly a fifth to a saintly 149g/km.It's a 16% improvement over the outgoing Lotus Elise S and Hethel claims 'the Elise has the lowest CO2 for its performance level for any gasoline sports car in the world.' Lotus is getting combative with the new Elise, pointing out that the Elise weighs just 876kg – while the Porsche Boxster sends the scales spinning to 1334kg.So how come the new Lotus Elise is so clean?The aerodynamics are 4% smoother, according to Lotus, while a smaller Toyota 1.6-litre VVT-i engine is downsized by 200cc compared with the outgoing 1.8, yet produces the same power.The new 2011 model year (but on sale now in 2010) shows the benefits of lightweight: it'll hit 60mph in 6.0sec.
Fioravanti expands into China in partnership with Eastone

The aim of this powerful duo is to deliver a wide range of design and build services directly to Chinese OEMs, with the first fruit of their labors being a concept car for Chinese manufacturer BAIC, to be unveiled at the Beijing auto show. For the first time in their own country, Chinese OEMs can now benefit from the time-served capabilities, knowledge and car culture typical of a leading Italian design house, while simultaneously gaining from the local knowledge, strong relationships and powerful commercial strength of a domestic design company.

Tue, 22 Feb 2011While Toyota unveiled a revised version of its FT-86 sports car at the 2011 Geneva motor show, Subaru chose to only preview the powertrain of its 'Toyobaru' rear-drive sports coupe. Subaru and Toyota are developing the car together, and each will produce a version of the rear-drive coupe in 2012, but so far it’s been Toyota that’s grabbed all the limelight. Yes, though Subaru was originally due to show a full concept version of its RWD sports car at Geneva, but has instead only revelead the powertrain and basic body shape – not the best move, as the Toyota looks good, and without body panels you only imagine this Scooby version to have bland, flat body panels. The engine is a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre flat four, and the car rides on 17in wheels.
