Aeromotive 16306 Billet Fuel Pump Controller Item Description
Features Aeromotive Electronics - 0 - 0 UNIVERSAL NON APPLICATION SPECIFIC ALL ALL ALL ; - 16306 *Billet Fuel Pump Speed Controller, P/N 16306* (This Part # replaces Part # 16302) For any pump, on any type of vehicle, the Aeromotive Fuel Pump Speed Controller (FPSC) minimizes hot fuel handling problems for in-line pumps in bypass systems and it will also keep T-style pumps cool in static systems, extending fuel pump life. Sensing engine RPM, the FPSC kicks your fuel flow into high gear when you need it, but reduces pump speed and flow to keep things cool when you don't. It's like an automatic transmission for your electric fuel pump. When you're cruising, Aeromotive's Billet Fuel Pump Controller automatically steps voltage down to the Fuel Pump at lower RPM, then it continuously monitors engine speed, stepping voltage and flow back up when needed. The RPM step-point is adjustable, allowing calibration for your specific application. *Billet Digital FMU, P/N 16303* The new Aeromotive Billet Digital FMU is a fully adjustable, scalable, electronic fuel pump controller. Used with an external in-line fuel pump, the Digital FMU creates a programmable FMU for use with returnless fuel systems. The Aeromotive FMU senses manifold pressure and automatically controls the external pump, providing the fuel pressure that you dial in. Now you can add forced induction to any returnless fuel system application and maintain the proper air/fuel ratio under all WOT operating conditions. NOTE: For use with returnless fuel systems only. Ford door protector takes the sting out of dings
Thu, 22 Sep 2011Nothing ruins car joy like a door ding--whether it's the first blemish on your pride and joy or the latest door divot. Now, the engineers at Ford in Europe have developed a way to take the sting out of the parking lot--a retractable door-edge protector for the Ford Focus. It's no surprise that this comes from Europe, where roads are narrow and parking spaces are squeezed tight.
Mazda signs deal with Discovery Velocity to broadcast MX-5 Cup and other races
Wed, 22 Feb 2012The Playboy MX-5 Cup is the best racing no one's watching, says Mazda, because it's not on television. The company changed that on Wednesday by inking a deal with the Discovery Velocity channel. Deep cable jokes aside, the MX-5 Cup does present some of the best parity in racing, as well as drivers racing for the love of the sport.
Euro NCAP tests for C4, Swift, CR-Z and iX35
Wed, 25 Aug 2010The results from the latest round of Euro NCAP crash tests are in, and - surprise, surprise - every car tested came away with a maximum five-star safety rating. The new Citroen C4, Suzuki Swift, Honda CR-Z hybrid and Hyundai iX35 were all put through their paces, and each passed with flying colours. The latest results, while highlighting how far car safety has come in recent years (remember the notorious Rover 100 fiasco of 1997?), are bound to reignite the growing debate that the tests - or at least the marks awarded - need to show more differentiation between models.
