This is a rate of climb indicator used on various types of aircraft. This one was removed during tear down and has been in storage since. It is in good condition without damage to the housing or connector. The lens is not cracked and needles are in place. The data plate reads INDICATOR, RATE OF CLIMB, MFRS. PART NO. RCM-10-3, THE AEROSONIC CORPORATION. It is not tagged and I have no way to test it so it is being listed AS IS. Thank you for looking and please see our many other aviation auctions.

Volkswagen joins Global Rallycross with Foust and Speed

The biggest splash at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show might have been made by Volkswagen on Thursday. The giant German automaker, along with Andretti Autosport, unveiled its 560-hp, all-wheel-drive Global Rallycross Beetle. GRC champion Tanner Foust will pilot the first car while ex-Formula One driver Scott Speed will helm the second.

Chevrolet Spark EV tops EPA's fuel-economy rankings for 2014

The 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV has been named the most fuel-efficient vehicle by the EPA and the Department of Energy in a new ranking for 2014. The Spark EV returns a combined 119 mpg equivalent, achieving 128 mpg in the city and 109 mpg on the highway. Chevrolet's pure-electric hatch displaced last year's chart topper, the Scion 2013 iQ EV, with its 121 mpg equivalent rating, but the Scion is not offered for the 2014 model year, so it didn't make the list for the U.S.
