Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV (2009) unveiled
Thu, 01 Oct 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 01 October 2009 15:20 This is the Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEV, the Japanese car company’s star attraction at this month’s 2009 Tokyo motor show. The concept tag is obvious, but the PX part designates the show car as a plug-in hybrid crossover, and MiEV stands for Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle. And from the start he looked like he’d taken a leaf of the Schumacher/Senna book on how to finish off an opponent as he forced Jenson Button off on to the grass as the Brit came powering up his inside from the start. The normally unflappable Button was straight on the pit radio demanding the stewards act, but it’s rare for the stewards to dish out penalties for a scrap in the mêlée of the start, and so it was in this case.
