Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat

This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street. Range Rover Hybrids press ahead on Silk Trail route to Mumbai

A trio of Range Rover Hybrid prototypes is well on its way to India on a 9,950-mile endurance drive through 12 countries. Land Rover is following the old Silk Trail to the east, but while it took ancient merchants months to complete the route, the Land Rover Hybrid team will be doing it in just 53 days. The Silk Trail is a historical network of trade routes which connected Asia with Europe and the Mediterranean, and got its name from the Chinese silk which was a lucrative trade item well into the 14th century.

The Clubvan concept is essentially a panel van variant of the Clubman wagon, pitched at premium small business as an up-market alternative to the traditional city van. The Clubvan retains the Clubman's asymmetrical body shell, complete with double rear doors and the small 'club door' on the right-hand side of the car.
