The POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to
enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. The spacer
utilizes it’s unique, patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air
charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. The spinning air action
boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization
of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber. The
end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power. Or Call 602-776-6885 Attention to all Intellectual Property Rights Owners: |

Fiat launches new MultiAir engines
Mon, 09 Mar 2009By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 09 March 2009 14:02 Fiat showed off the detail of its new MultiAir engines at the 2009 Geneva motor show – and we’ll finally be able to buy the tech on the new Alfa Romeo Mito supermini later in 2009. The brains behind the common-rail injection system that shook up diesel technology have now produced a new technology designed to make petrol engines more efficient and cleaner. Engineers claim the MultiAir engines – which use electrohydraulic actuation, rather than the more widely available electromechanical systems – boost power and torque, while cutting CO2 by between 10% and 25% and other pollutants by up to 60%.
Volvo S60 sedan shown at the Detroit auto show
Sun, 11 Jan 2009Showing a new direction inspired by Scandinavian design, Volvo displayed a concept vehicle at the Detroit Auto Show that previews the new S60 sedan, due in 18 months. The car has a new face--with angled headlamps, a coupe roofline and no B-pillar--and an interior with the "environment of a modern Scandinavian living room," said Steve Mattin, Volvo senior vice president of design. The car's more emotional look is part of a longer-term strategy to give Volvo a more exciting image in the United States through changes in product design and marketing, said Stephen Odell, CEO of Volvo Car Corp.
