We saw the 9-X BioHybrid concept at Geneva, and at Paris we can expect to see this car as a cabriolet version called the Saab 9-X Air Concept. The core innovation in this design is the roof which in Saab's words is: "a powered, flat-folding roof developed from a Targa top principle". Prime Minister visits Jaguar Land Rover

DAVID Cameron paid a visit to Jaguar Land Rover’s new Engine Manufacturing Centre at the weekend. The Prime Minister was given a tour of the new plant where he saw the on-going installation of the manufacturing equipment first hand. Based at the heart of the UK, it is ideally located between the company’s three other manufacturing sites at Halewood, Castle Bromwich and Solihull.

The Blue Oval has unveiled an all-new mighty F150, a four-door US version of the Fiesta-sized Verve concept seen at Frankfurt and a range of turbocharged direct-injection petrol engines, dubbed EcoBoost. Derrick Kuzak, group VP for global product development, told CAR Online that to truly reduce emissions you need a mass-production solution people can afford, and EcoBoost doesn’t need all the expensive and complex after-treatments for NOx and particulates needed by diesel to meet US regulations.
