And of course make it safer to buy on eBay. Of course this makes it next to impossible for my customers to send me pictures of their boat parts so I can identify them before purchase. EBay also will give sellers a discount on final fee value (EBay fees) for sales that don’t use the messaging system but of course more messaging is needed without pictures so please message or call me if you are not sure what parts you need before you buy, I would rather pay the extra 5% and have you message me than to cause more returns. I always put my email address in my feedback area for warrantee & pictures. 1) If you really want to return for cash back there will be a 25% restocking fee and you pay all shipping and sales fees I incur. A $25.00 return handling fee may also be added on top of restocking fee’s. In other words don’t buy parts you don’t need just to see what they look like. 2) If I send you the wrong parts and it is my mistake I pay all fees, shipping and you get 100% of your money back. I make the decision who made the mistake and usually the mistake is obvious. 3) NO returns or refunds on installed, used or damaged items. Items must all be in original condition and you are required to inspect all items and ask for refund before attempting installation. 4) Unused items may also be returned for cash back or store credit with a restocking fee possible less than 25% 5) If your items are shipped to a second party and they claim damage was done when they got the items there will be no warrantee, refunds or credit. 6) For any refund, credit or return all items must be shipped directly to you the buyer. 7) Any damage in shipping claims must be filed with me within 3 days of receipt of items. 8) There is a 14 day cash back policy for all returns. The shipping insurance does not cover install damage. 11) Any remanufactured part is covered by shipping insurance but not covered for dropping and breaking after arrival. It is 3 days to inspect for damage and 14 day return policy undamaged. Example; You buy gimbal housing and inspect and it is fine. You take it to mechanic and he breaks it (NO RETURN OR WARRANTEE) If something is broken when you open package contact me through the eBay messaging system and check my/your feedback for my email address so you can send me pictures. 12) I am not like Wal-Mart when it comes to returns. There are sometimes heavy shipping fees for returns and of course eBay, pay pal and credit card fees to consider in the sales. In the store eBay gets 10% on every purchase. 13) No returns on partial orders unless authorized by me. For instance bellows/transom kits if you decide not to use a part but used the rest of the kit there is no return on that part so please don’t ask. If you wanted to return let’s say the shift cable bellows from a set then the rest of the kit would cost more sold individually so there would not be a refund, it would cost more. 14) All returns must be authorized by me before returning. This may help you determine what parts you need so you won’t have to return. Type 1 is 1963 through 1975, Pre alpha 1976 through 1982, Alpha 1 Generation 1 1983 through 1991, Alpha 1 Generation 2 1991 to date and Bravo is 1987 to date. Of course these are actual but manufactures may have used older models and your boat may have been upgraded. I have had a lot of questions on the brand name of these bellows sets. These are a mixture of various brand names. I cannot list the brand names because E-bay considers it brand name spamming and automatically removes the listings. I buy these from multiple suppliers in bulk to make up the sets. This is where I protect you the consumer. I have noticed no matter what sets I would buy there would be one thing I would not like about them. For instance stainless steel bellows clamps would be made out of 640 stainless steel and they would rust and break. Or the shift cable bellows’ rubber would be too thin walled. Or the drive shaft bellows would either be too thick or too thin or allow it to stretch out of proportion or prematurely crack.

This is a word to the wise; Shift cables should also be changed every 5 years while you have the drive off the boat doing the bellows. Remember you may think the shift cable is good and working properly but the cables wear on the inside where you can’t see it. And if you don’t change the shift cable with the shift cable bellows you will have the extra labor of doing the shift cable before the change of the second set of bellows because the cable will not last the 10 years. New Shift cables are $65 including shipping and it is not worth the labor of replacing it separately.

Oh here is a tip; Never store your boat with outdrive in up position as it stretches out the bellows and allows the hydraulic ram seals to dry and freeze up so they wont close.

If your boat has a tendency to keep blowing out bearings you should consider installing a heavy duty gimbal bearing instead of this standard bearing. They are an extra $35.00 and can be well worth it. Just message me after purchase and tell me you want the HD bearing and I will send you an invoice with the extra $35.00 added to it. It fits just fine on the older type 1, pre alpha and Alpha One Generation One's. I also have the HD bearings listed in another auction with this universal set!

If you are not sure if you have a gen 1 or gen 2 look at the way your hydraulic rams attach to there shafts on the drive or gimbal ring, gen 1's attach with nuts, washers and black rubbers and gen 2 uses E clips and white plastic inserts.

I removed the overnight express mail service option because USPS only guarantees anything to be delivered in 3 days. The last 10 packages I have either shipped out or had shipped here took the same amount of time as priority mail 2/3 days!

A new performance-oriented 335iS model endowed with an M-sport styling kit and unique chassis settings heads the list of changes BMW brings to its facelifted 2011 3-series coupe and convertible. Set to slot into the lineup between an upgraded 335i and the M3 when it goes on sale in March as an exclusive for North America, the 335iS runs a tuned version of BMW's N54 engine, as found in the recently unveiled Z4 sDrive35iS, coupled to either a standard six-speed manual or an optional Getrag-engineered seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine of the 335iS adds a special software package to bump power to 326 hp and lift torque to 332 lb-ft--or to an even gutsier 369 lb-ft for short periods via an overboost function that unleashes added turbocharger boost pressure.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles outlined its plans for the next five years on Tuesday. Not to be outdone, Porsche revealed some interesting tidbits about the next three years on Thursday. To start: Porsche will produce several 700-hp hybrid versions of its Panamera sedan and stalwart 911.

Volvo Concept XC Coupé revealed. Previews 2015 Volvo XC90 Coupe Volvo gave us a tease for the Concept XC Coupe last month – ahead of its debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week – but now the XC Coupe gets a proper reveal. The Concept XC Coupe is clearly a very firm look at the 2015 Volvo XC90, but instead 0f previewing its as a seven-seat, five-door SUV, Volvo has chosen to deliver the Concept XC as a two-door, four-seat XC90 – think of it probably as Volvo’s X6 or an ‘Allroad’ version of the next XC90.
