Mon, 02 Jul 2012The new Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Paris Motor Show. When we had the reveal of the new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake last week we bemoaned the fact that all the UK was getting was a pair of diesel-powered CLS’s. But we did point out, despite nothing official from Mercedes, that there was a good chance they were going to take a camouflaged version of the one petrol powered CLS the UK should eventually get – the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake – to Goodwood at the weekend.

Just yesterday, Lexus responded to the leak of a couple of photos of the 2013 Lexus LS by issuing a single photo of the exterior of their ‘New’ LS. What they’ll do now a full set of exterior photos of both the regular 2013 LS and 2013 LS F Sport have escaped on to the net we can only guess, although it seems unlikely they’ll do the official reveal until Monday as they planned.
Mercury dies off, Lincoln to benefit

Following the sale of Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar and most recently Volvo (to Chinese automaker Geely), the Blue Oval has now announced the demise of its 'middle of the range' Mercury brand, with production of the last vehicles set to cease at the end of 2010. In a statement released to media, Ford announced that the shuttering of the 71-year old Mercury brand was in the interest of focusing on Lincoln, the automaker's only remaining premium brand.
