Maybach officially turns up its toes

Maybach – a brand name almost unknown outside Germany when it was revived – was supposed to be Mercedes’ answer to Rolls Royce and Bentley. And perhaps it could have been.
Bring a Trailer: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Wed, 01 Jun 2011Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. Visions of Voisins
Tue, 22 May 2012It'll be the largest collection of Automobiles Voisin ever assembled since the factory closed in 1937. Peter Mullin, collector extraordinaire of beautiful French cars of the art deco movement, has spent the last decade scouring the planet in search of some of the 200 or so remaining Voisins to feature in an exhibit of the marque opening this fall in his Mullin Automotive Museum. The result is 15 cars, one motorcycle and an airplane.
