This is a no reserve auction for a used Forespar anodized aluminum mast or deck chock for a whisker or spinnaker pole with a teak base for mast mounting and 1/4 x 20 stainless steel machine screws for attaching to deck or mast. It is gray in color and the teak pad is finished with Cetol. The teak is contoured to fit on the rounded face of a mast and can be custom fitted to any curvature of the mast by taping coarse sandpaper to the face of the mast and sanding the block to fit perfectly. it measures as follows: L - 5 inch, W - 3.5, H - 3.5 without teak pad and 4 with the pad. The opening of the jaw is 2 inches.

Fri, 30 May 2014Robert Pond was an industrialist, an aviator, a Navy pilot, an aircraft designer, a genuine car enthusiast, a philanthropist, a Minnesotan at heart and a man who turned a family business from eight employees to a global $100-million concern. Pond was born in 1924 in Edina, Minn., 10 miles southwest of Minneapolis. He signed up for the Navy Air Corps in 1942, and survived three years of training on J-3 Piper Cubs and PBY Catalinas to graduate in July of 1945 -- just three months before Japan surrendered to the US.
University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2004

With 19 graduating students from the BA(Hons) Transport Design course, the range of design projects reflects the broad nature of the discipline; with projects ranging from automotive exteriors and interiors, motorcycles, bridges and urban transportation interfaces. All final year projects have a strong design research element where a student's detailed knowledge and understanding of future market, social and environmental trends validates the project and the core design concept.
