Autostyle Design Competition 2013: The Results

The results of the tenth annual Autostyle 2013 design competition are in, with three Italian and two French design students earning this year's top plaudits. The contest challenged students from eight schools from around the world to create a custom vehicle from a Citroën Revolte concept, Suzuki SX4, Audi Crosslane, Land Rover Defender DC100 concept or Maserati Ghibli. The schools involved were: Creapole; Istituto Europeo di Design (IED); Institut Supérieur du Design (ISD); Istituto Superiore Scienza dell'Automobile di Modena (ISSAM); Politecnico di Milano; Royal College of Art; Strate College; and Umeå University of Design.

Voilvo has been cold weather testing the electric C30 at temperatures as low as -20C We do have more than a degree of scepticism when it comes to electric cars. Actually, it’s not the electric cars that cause us to be sceptical, more so the claims – or a lack of transparency - by car makers, which gets right up our nose. Noble M600 Roadster Revealed – but you can’t have one

Noble Automotive has released an image of a convertible M600, but has no plans to produce it at present. The Noble M600 is an impressive supercar from one of the UK’s most interesting ‘Garden Shed’ supercar builders, even if it’s gestation period seems to have been ten times that of an elephant. The M600 ‘arrived’ in 2009 ready to rock and roll, or so we thought, but then seemed to disappear again.
