Here is an original AMC produced automatic transmission shift knob. Has the original leather wrapping that is in excellent condition in black color. Insert has the red/white/blue logo that is also in excellent condition as shown. Threads look to be perfect. Removed from an unknown vehicle decades ago and stored indoors. Basically flawless condition for a knob so old. Could possibly be from a Jeep Grand Wagoneer from the early 1980's. You decide. Free shipping in the lower 48 states.

Heathrow congestion charge pondered

DRIVERS travelling to Heathrow could face a congestion charge should the west London airport be chosen for expansion. Bosses at Heathrow will tell the Whitehall-appointed Airports Commission there could be a case for introducing a charge once improvements in public transport in the area are delivered. Such a charge would not apply to surrounding roads such as the M25, the M4 and the A4, but would affect vehicles travelling to the airport.
