Toyota to release ‘back to basics’ GT 86 for JDM tuners

Toyota is releasing a back-to-basics version of its GT 86 in April, specifically for the Japanese aftermarket tuning scene. The RC version is intended to be a blank canvas for customers to modify and customize according to their preferences. So wing mirrors, door handles and front and rear bumpers are unpainted, and front foglamps, tailgate lamp, intake manifold cover, stereo and speakers are all removed.

Jaguar E-Types tussling on track at the Goodwood Revival It’s been a big year for the E-Type Jaguar. Despite still being probably the most iconic car ever made it’s finally reached middle-age, with the big 5-0 arriving in March at Geneva. Understandably, Jaguar has made the most of the anniversary of the E-Type by rolling out E-Types at every event they could, but perhaps the most appropriate event for the E-Type to headline at has been this weekend’s Goodwood revival, a veritable cornucopia of nostalgic and historic motoring goodness.

Bugatti unveiled a special version of its Grand Sport Vitesse at the The Quail on Friday. The drop-top is meant to pay homage to the Type 37A, built in 1928. The original Type 37A won multiple Grands Prix and is now owned by Jay Leno.
