BMW are adding xDrive as an option across the 5 Series GT range We really don’t ‘Get’ the BMW 5 Series GT. To be fair, we haven’t driven one so it’s a viewpoint from afar. But we can’t deny it fills the gap between the 5 Series Estate and the 5 Series Saloon,  we just hadn’t realised that there was a gap that needed filling.

Porsche has injected a little more flair into its SUV with the debut of the Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3. Following the Cayman S and Boxster S Design Editions, the Cayenne receives a thorough visual makeover from the Porsche Design Studio. Designers began by covering the Cayenne’s sheetmetal with lava grey metallic paint with three design stripes down the center of the hood and one stripe along the lower door panels.

Ford is to increase UK Car prices by an average of 3.75% as a result of the weak pound You can’t blame Ford – it has to make a living, and things are tough enough for car makers at the moment without suffering at the hands of unstable currencies. Ford reckons that the movement in the Pound against the Euro in the last yaer or so has cost it nine figures on its UK income. Big money, no question.
