Subaru won't just show the new BRZ sports car at the 2011 Tokyo motor show – it'll also unveil this Advanced Tourer Concept hybrid car. Pitched as a hint at what could replace the Subaru Legacy, Subaru says the new Advanced Tourer Concept juggles 'driving performance and utility.' This concept car is a bit smaller than today's Legacy, however; at 4580mm long, it's more C-segment sized than the current 4775mm Legacy wagon. UPDATE: Jack Roush, injured in plane crash, transferred to Mayo Clinic

Jack Roush was transferred on Wednesday evening to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., to receive treatment for facial injures sustained in a plane crash, his company said. Roush, 68, is co-owner of Roush-Fenway Racing and chairman of Roush Enterprises, a supplier most famous for customizing Ford Mustangs. He crashed his plane during landing on Tuesday at an airport in Oshkosh, Wis.

GM posts $2.5 billion profit, led by North America

General Motors on Thursday posted a profit of $2.5 billion for the second quarter, led by strong results in North America. GM's net income for the April-through-June period nearly doubled from $1.3 billion in the year-earlier quarter. It was GM's sixth consecutive quarterly profit since exiting bankruptcy in mid-2009.
