Mike Ryan does amazing things with the Banks Freightliner. And with Pikes Peak still half a year away, Ryan settles for practice in the Long Beach docks in "Size Matters 2." He weaves the semi in and out of boxes, does donuts in the same tight radius as a matte-black 240SX (driven by stuntman Daniel Leavitt, who ironically shares his name with a reckless driving attorney in Virgina), and dodges even larger trucks. (No Dodges, though there's the Freightliner connection.) James May has a mishap with a hot air balloon and a caravan in Cambridgeshire But now it’s Captain Slow’s turn to have  a bit of a coming together, Appropriately, considering his apparent aversion for the flamboyant and reckless, he managed to do it in a hot air balloon. Which means it was another of Top Gear’s mad races, this time with May in a caravan attached to a hot air balloon over the Cambridgeshire countryside, and the Hamster in a Lambo. The hot air balloon was meant to land on the village green at Eltisley in Cambridgeshire.

NHTSA investigates Ford Super Duty for steering problem

Federal U.S. safety officials are investigating about 340,000 copies of the 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup trucks for a reported steering problem. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received five complaints that an internal failure of the steering gear box results in a complete loss of steering control.
