Mazda to use regen brakes to boost fuel economy 5 to 10 percent
Mon, 09 Jul 2012Mazda is adding a fuel-saving technology that harnesses wasted brake energy in the redesigned Mazda6 sedan due early next year. The approach uses regenerative braking to convert kinetic energy into electricity that is stored in a capacitor. The car later taps that capacitor to power the fuel pump, lights, audio, air conditioning and transmission and engine control systems.
MG TF LE500 production scheduled

The company has announced that production of the roadster will start again at Longbridge from early August 2008, and cars will be in dealerships by September. Friday in Le Mans: Prerace parade and car show thrills crowds
Sat, 11 Jun 2011The 24 Hours of Le Mans doesn't start until Saturday at 3 p.m. French time, but as anyone here will tell you, the festivities began much earlier in the week. On Friday, I had the opportunity to visit the Driver's Parade and car show in downtown Le Mans, a five-hour festival that brings out what appeared to be half the town, plus many race enthusiasts from around the globe.
